• Originally hailing from Australia - Leah graduated high school and began her studies in exercise and sport science – after discovering this was more of a hobby for her rather than a career, she quickly jumped ship to the path of veterinary nursing by commencing her certificate II in Animal studies. This led to her completing her studies in Veterinary Nursing and was where her passion for the field really grew. Shortly after graduating she made the move to Canada and began working. Fast forward, and after 9yrs in Vancouver Leah is a long-standing team member here at Mountainside, quickly falling in love with the varying, challenging and fast-paced nature of emergency.

Outside of work she spends most of her time with friends and family – her husband, son and rescue doggo Milo. As a lover of all things winter, you’ll find her chasing snow whenever possible and yet, jet setting home for the summers and the white sandy beaches of Western Australia.
