Dr Keir Palmer is originally from Glasgow, Scotland and graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2017 with a Bachelors In Veterinary Medicine & Surgery. He started his veterinary career at a busy ER hospital in England where he spent 2.5 years gaining experience in both general practice and emergency & critical care (ECC). 

Keir has spent the last 3 years of his career at a referral level hospital in Manchester, UK, working with both the ER and referral ECC teams. He has also completed his training & coursework for his RCVS Advanced Practitioner Certificate in ECC from the UK and is due to sit his exam next Spring. 

Keir, his wife Caitlyn, and their very cheeky 4-year-old Dachshund Rory have recently emigrated to British Columbia from the UK and are looking forward to exploring all that BC has to offer.
