We're thrilled to share that our ultrasound service has already completed 110 scans in 2024! We have had many ultrasound referrals from you, our referral community, and we are so grateful to have been able to provide this for your patients.
To enhance the efficiency of our service, we have a few important updates:
New Online Ultrasound Request Form
We are excited to announce the launch of our new online referral form for ultrasound requests! This form is designed to streamline the referral process and ensure we understand exactly what you need for your patients. You can access the form here: Ultrasound Request Form.
How To Refer:
When referring a patient for an ultrasound, please call and speak to our client service representative (CSR). They will ask for the patient and client details so that we can call them to confirm the procedure.
The CSR will notify the doctor on shift, who will coordinate with Megan to find a suitable time for the scan based on Dr. Atwood’s availability and our hospital capacity. If you would like to speak with our doctor for a transfer call, we are happy to arrange that; however, it is not required when the online request form is submitted.
Once a time is confirmed, the doctor will update the CSR, who will then arrange the appointment with the client and confirm with you, the referring clinic.
For critical cases, the process should take no more than 15 minutes. For less urgent cases, we aim for 90 minutes or less.
Once confirmed, please be sure to submit the online Ultrasound Request Form and email us the patient’s medical records if you haven’t already.
