Growing up on a farm in rural Co. Clare, Ireland, Katie has always had a passion for caring and looking after animals. From a young age, she knew that the only profession she wanted to work in was Veterinary. This led her to study Veterinary nursing for 4 years in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. Since leaving university Katie worked in Ireland for 4 years before coming to see all that Vancouver has to offer.

In her spare time, you will find Katie, attempting to snowboard on the local mountains, camping, hiking, playing Irish football, and socializing with friends. And here at Mountainside, you will find her gathering everyone together for a strong cup of tea and a chat whenever there are a few minutes spare on a busy day!
