Meet Arrow, an 8-year-old Border Collie mix who had a rough morning after a stick lodged in the back of his throat during play.
He was in pain and couldn’t eat or drink, so the team sedated him and discovered an 8cm stick embedded in his hard palate. The stick was removed, and the wound was cleaned and sutured.
Arrow also had a wet cough, raising concerns about pneumonia, so he was sent home with antibiotics and other meds.
Just 48 hours later, Arrow was back to his playful self with no complications!
